Evaluating Scholarship Applications

This guide outlines the key criteria for assessing scholarship applications, including academic potential, financial need, personal circumstances, extracurricular involvement, leadership, resilience, support networks, career goals, community service, and more.

Academic Performance
We look for students who show strong academic performance and a dedication to their education through grades, teacher recommendations, and personal statements.
Financial Need
Applicants must provide proof of financial need, including family income and details of any extenuating circumstances.
Leadership / Extracurricular / Community Involvement
Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or part-time employment, along with leadership roles.
Education and Career Goals
Applicants should clearly articulate their career and educational goals and how the scholarship will help them achieve these objectives.
Personal and Family Circumstances
We consider the impact of personal challenges such as single-parent households, foster care, homelessness, and other adverse experiences.
Support Network and Mentorship
The presence of a strong support network, including mentors and community members who can provide guidance, is important.
Community Involvement and Service
Participation in community service or initiatives that show a commitment to giving back and making a positive impact is essential.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must complete an application form, which includes short response questions and one essay prompt.

Additionally, candidates must submit the following supporting documents:
